It’s no surprise that Amitabh Bachchan is the voice of this anthem. He is often referred to as the “Father of the Nation” in India, and he has been an important symbol of national unity throughout his life. In addition, his voice has been used countless times in Bollywood movies over the last few decades. This video features him singing what sounds like a patriotic song about India and its diversity (or at least, one man’s perception of it). However, his voice is primarily used for songs about love and heartbreak—so we may not be getting quite what we expected from this video!
Anil Kapoor is an Indian actor and producer. He has appeared in numerous Bollywood films, such as Mr India (1987), Betaab (1992), Veer-Zaara (2004) and 24 (2007). In a short clip, Hrithik Roshan is seen showing the flag to a group of people while encouraging them to join in. He then raises the flag at his home and encourages his children to do the same.
The anthem video also features singer Shreya Ghoshal and filmmaker Karan Johar who also hold up flags at their homes as well.
Ranveer Singh and Arjun Kapoor
Ranveer Singh and Arjun Kapoor have been roped in to feature in the much-awaited ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ anthem video. The two actors will be seen along with Salman Khan in the video, which is being shot in Mumbai.
The anthem will be sung by Swaroop Khan, while lyrics are penned by Prasoon Joshi. The music has been composed by Ram Sampath and background score is handled by Shiraz Uppal while Sujoy Ghosh has directed the film.
Salman Khan is the face of the anthem.
You can catch Salman Khan in the video below, which also features a host of other Bollywood stars.
Salman Khan was recently named brand ambassador for the government of India’s ‘Har Ghar Tiranga‘ initiative, which aims to promote patriotism and nationalism among Indians. The actor has been involved with several films that have addressed patriotic themes such as “Bajrangi Bhaijaan” (which focused on Hindu-Muslim unity) and “Sultan” (which highlighted Indian soldiers).
The video is a great way to bring the celebration of India’s 70th Independence Day to a whole new level. The anthem features actors and actresses who are extremely popular among Indian audiences, which will help get more people interested in watching it. I hope that this song becomes as iconic as Vande Mataram or Jana Gana Mana!
