Act 2 of Baldur’s Gate 3 has a lot more magical rings that will give players an advantage after Act 1.
In Baldur’s Gate 3, characters can wear a variety of items that can give them big advantages. Enchanted rings are one type of item that can do this. Players can find a lot of them, even in act two alone, if they know where to look.
Unfortunately, they can be spread out and hidden in hard-to-reach places. However, they are well worth finding because the benefits they offer to the player’s party can change the game. In Baldur’s Gate 3, act two, these are the rings that you shouldn’t miss. They often have something to do with the Shadow-Cursed Lands.
Family Ring
You can find the Family Ring in the Ruined Battlefield. It is a strong ring with an interesting story behind it. A thief wrote in a note that they were supposed to get back the things that an old man had to give up because of the shadow curse. In particular, they were supposed to get back the ring that his beloved wife Ellie is buried with. This was meant to be kept by the thief, but they failed even the shadow curse.
Players can finish the job by discovering Ellie’s grave. Someone or something took it, though, so players have to go down the nearby hill to find a burrow and get the ring from there. Putting in the work is worth it because it gives a +2 to death saving throws, which makes it much harder to die.
Eversight Ring
This ring is especially helpful for ranged characters, since powers and effects that blind them are often aimed at them. As its name suggests, the Eversight Ring keeps its user from going blind. You can find it in a fancy box in the House of Healing Morgue.
You’ll have to fight shadow-cursed creatures to get to the morgue, and then you’ll have to deal with the dead people that live there. The traps don’t hurt characters, so don’t worry too much about them. Keep in mind that the chest’s lock needs to be picked.
True Love’s Embrace
True Love’s Embrace is another ring that comes with a sad love story, like the Family Ring. It is one of two rings that belonged to a married couple who have since died. The other ring is True Love’s Caress. You can find True Love’s Embrace on the husband’s skeleton in the scary House Of Healing, along with a book that tells the sad story of how he and his love died.
When someone wears True Love’s Embrace, they can cast Warding Bond, a level 2 abjuration spell, once every long rest on someone who is wearing True Love’s Caress, the matched ring. The ring is very rare, and you should definitely get it along with its matching ring.
True Love’s Caress
Naturally, True Love’s Caress can be found on a skeleton in the House Of Healing Graveyard. It’s likely Miranda, who was married to the skeleton in the House Of Healing and was once Shar’s priestess. Though both rings are rare, True Love’s Caress is more valuable because the person who wears it is the only one who can get Warding Bond.
This means that they don’t have to do anything and get the benefits of the spell. The person wearing True Love’s Embrace, on the other hand, has to cast it, doesn’t get the benefits, and also takes the same amount of damage as the person wearing Caress.
Ring Of Twilight
It’s easy to get the Ring of Twilight, but it’s also easy to miss. Its perk is pretty useful, especially for characters who like to stay hidden. In the Ruined Battlefield, you can find it in a round tower. The door is locked, so players should either unlock it or jump over it, making sure their friends don’t walk right into it.
A transcript of Harper’s questioning can be found on a chest inside the tower, letting players know they are in the right place. To get the rare ring, players must steal a key from one of the many vases and then open the box under the bench, which isn’t very clear. Given how hidden the chest is, the ring gives its user an extra +2 to Armor Class while they are hidden.
Ring Of Exalted Marrow
This expensive ring is the prize for beating Ketheric Thorm in the first fight, which took place on the roof of Moonrise Towers. And it’s a strong one for sure! The key to Ketheric’s box can be stolen from Susdera, and the ring can be taken from the box.
The ring gives the person who wears it two skills: Ghoulish Touch and Exhort The Risen. Both spells are level one. The first one lets the user control the will of undead, and the second one does good damage and could paralyze a target for up to two turns. A player can use both of these skills very effectively, and they are most likely to find this ring at the most optimal time in act two.
Ring Of Free Action
You can buy this rare and useful ring from Araj Oblodra in Moonrise Towers as long as you haven’t started the attack on Moonrise yet. The person who wears the ring can avoid the effects of rough terrain and can’t be held down or paralyzed.
At this point in Snow Rider 3D, a lot of magic and effects are likely to cause these issues for players, with paralysis being the worst. This ring can make them happy. People should also go see Araj because they can have fun conversations with her, especially if Astarion is there.
Shifting Corpus Ring
Most players will likely be able to get the Shifting Corpus Ring, which lets them cast two very strong spells. Taken from the body of Marcus, the Flaming Fist who turns on the Last Light Inn for Ketheric Thorm.
For those who have the rare ring, they can cast the strong illusion spells “Invisibility” and “Blur.” It’s definitely worth taking when players beat him, but keep in mind that it will be seen as theft from the inn, so they’ll have to be sneaky. It’s not hard to loot him as long as you stay out of sight, though.
Risky Ring
In Moonrise, Araj Oblodra also sells the Risky Ring. With this rare ring, any character can use a skill similar to a barbarian’s rash attack. The person who wears it has an edge on attack rolls, which is very helpful in battle.
The only bad thing about this ring is that the person who wears it will also be worse at saving throws. A player may decide that this is a trade-off that is worth making because benefit will give them a big advantage.
Killer’s Sweetheart
The name of this rare ring is cool, and the benefit is even cooler. Even better, players are very likely to get this ring because they can get it in the Self-Same Trial in the Gauntlet of Shar. However, it’s easy to miss. In the Self-Same Trial, players have to fight a different form of their party, which can be hard but fun.
People may have to look around a bit to find the prize, Killer’s Sweetheart, because it drops when the lead party member duplicate is killed. The Executioner perk is given to the person who wears this powerful ring. It works when the person wearing it kills a monster and gives them a free critical hit in the banks that they can use on a future attack. This ring is very useful for players because it helps them feel better after a long rest.
